Newswise offers six unique tools to help journalists find and connect with experts from the world's leading research institutions:
Expert Query Form
Reporters use this form to request an expert in the area of knowledge they specify. Newswise distributes each query to our network of nonprofit higher education and research institutions. Reporters receive responses directly from the institutions themselves at the email address and/or phone number they provide.
Search Newswise Libraries
This is a powerful search engine of the more than 75,000 news articles in our libraries, from 1997 to the present. This serves as a useful way of finding experts and background information on news topics.
The Newswise Contact Directory is a database of universities, colleges, and other research organizations that is designed to help journalists find media contacts. This tool maintains contact information for media relations personnel and websites, and it may be searched by institution name, location, subject area, or institution type.
